About

Welcome to Log Cabin Country Quilts! My name is Ginny and my grandmother, Clara, always had a quilt in the frames so I learned to hand-stitch quilts very early. I’ve been making my own quilts for over 40 years. In 2006 I completed a class on a long-arm quilting machine and loved it. After I retired from government service in summer 2011, I decided to follow my passion--quilting. I can get so many more quilts completed with this technique and hope to help my friends finish their quilt projects.

Log Cabin Country Quilts was founded in September 2011. We are located in historic Marietta, Ohio. The quilting is hand-guided done on an HQ18 Avante long-arm quilting machine. We offer a range of services. Check out the Services and Pricing page for more information. We will be offering a plethora of Workshops starting in the new year.   If you want to learn different quilting techniques or maybe you want to learn how to drive the machine so you can do all your own quilting, you will want to sign up for some of my Workshops. Check out our Workshops page for more information.

I am looking forward to helping you finish your quilting projects. It is my mission to keep the heritage of quilting alive. Let's work together!
